Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 2026

Welcome to JBL Custom Apparel. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a transparent, high-quality experience for all our clients.

1. Custom Design & Approval Process

JBL Custom Apparel specializes in bespoke designs.

  • Mock-Up Approval: Before production, a digital mock-up will be provided for your review. Your written approval of this mock-up (via email or our ordering platform) serves as the final "green light" for production.

  • Finality: Once a mock-up is approved, no further changes can be made. JBL Custom Apparel is not responsible for errors present in the approved mock-up, including but not limited to typos, color selection, or logo placement.

2. Payment Terms

  • Upfront Payment: Due to the custom nature of our products, full payment is required before production begins.

  • Taxes: Applicable sales tax will be added to orders based on Virginia state law and the destination of the shipment.

3. Intellectual Property

  • Customer-Provided Content: By submitting logos, artwork, or trademarks to us, you warrant that you own the rights to that content or have permission to use it. JBL Custom Apparel reserves the right to refuse any design that violates trademark laws or contains offensive material.

  • JBL Designs: Any original designs created by JBL Custom Apparel remain the intellectual property of JBL Custom Apparel unless a formal transfer of rights is agreed upon in writing.

4. Product Variance

  • Color Accuracy: We strive for perfection, but please note that colors on digital screens may vary slightly from physical ink and fabric dyes.

  • Garment Availability: In the event of a manufacturer stock shortage, we will notify you and offer a comparable high-quality substitute for your approval.

5. Shipping & Local Delivery

  • Fairfax County Benefit: Free hand-delivery is provided solely for addresses within Fairfax County, VA.

  • Carrier Risk: Once a package is handed over to a third-party carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx), the risk of loss passes to the customer as outlined in our Shipping Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

JBL Custom Apparel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific order in question.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in or serving Fairfax County, VA.

8. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time—specifically in cases of copyright infringement or behavior that contradicts our brand values.
